A weekend full of weddings and partying

This weekend has been one hell of a party.
To kick it all off on the friday was my cousin Russell's wedding to his beautiful Olivia. What a lovely day it was.

Everything looked perfect, and the dress was amazing.

So a massive congratulations to my Cuz and his wife.

The celebrations carried on through-out the day and in to the evening, and it was  great photo opportunity for the whole family.. so here are some of those snaps

My Big brother and little sister <3

My dad in between my very tall cousins

To the left my beautiful mum and to the right my auntie (her sister) with my gran

Its cake time. and yes it did taste amazing

I think this is a tradition with all of their friends as they did the same human pyramid at Ashley's wedding

So when we could all no longer dance or sing it was time to call it a night. off to our very posh hotel rooms we went.
Only to start the party all over again, as me and my boyfriend ben were off to Radio 1's hackney weekend

Oh My Days was that amazing or what!

With the most expensive little bottle of wine in hand the day began,

We saw soo many acts and all were absolutely amazing.
Here is a run down of the ones we were lucky enough to see..

Example
Ed Sheeran
Sean paul
Flo Rida
Will.i.am
Dj Fresh
Emeli Sande
Swedish House Mafia
Calvin Harris

and not to forget only flipping Jay Z and not only did he come on stage with Rihanna, kanye turned up to. A-mazing.!!!

And to top it all of only beyonce was dancing down the front in the crowd. just Wow!

after the best weekend I have had in a long while we made our way back across London to Bethnal Green to our. not so lovely hotel. I must say it wasn't the best but then i guess you get what you for. but at £70 a night you would not expect to see day light out the bathroom celling

At least it we had a good nights sleep.

Fabric parints

It still amazes me just how good my printer can be (sometimes)!
Just by sticking fabric to an A3 piece of paper and putting it back through my printer, I have fabric prints :) Amazing!!

These will form the beginnings of my new notebook covers.
I am going to add stitched detail and embellishments to make them more interesting and tactile!
keep you all posted :)

cross stitch..

As you my know by now, I do love to do a bit of cross stitch!
When I have found a spare minute I have been busy stitching to create some words for the front of my notebooks.

Whilst at work to make the most of my lunch break I get stitching ( sad I know But I love it)

This is what you can find me doing whilst I am dreaming up my next design idea :)

Doodles are usually the basis and beginnings for a create design, so make sure you always have a doodle pad!

The first blog this month!

It has been a while since I have up loaded anything to my blog, and shame on me!
I have been busy working none stop at work, so I have hardly had any time to create my master pieces at home. However I have just received my fist check for two of my notebooks that I have sold in a cute little shop in Petersfield. I was quite chuffed :)

While I have been busy I also found time to have fun at the Jubilee weekend..

I made a few Queen masks ( a little scary) for me and my friends as we watched the Alton Carnival. It was great to see the little town all come together.

Not to forget a jug of pimmes :) is a must on a jubilee weekend. I aslo tried my hand a painting the union jack flag on my nails. (even roped my poor boyfriend in to having his thumbs painted he loved it really)

And to round off a great day we all got our faces painted in true British style.
Very proud to be British
